Broker/Owner

As a life-long resident of Decorah, I have been through many of the changes in the local market. I started working with my father in the real estate industry at the age of 18, upon completion of my basic training with the Army.  In 1998, I became a licensed real estate agent in Iowa and am currently the broker and owner of Viking, Realtors.  I was also a member of the Army Reserve's Bravo Company 389th Engineer Battalion located in Decorah for 12 years and served 1 tour of duty in Iraq.  Upon returning from Iraq, I graduated from Luther College in the class of 2003.  As an investor,  I have purchased and sold many properties throughout the years; from commercial, to residential, to land; gaining understanding of what buyers and sellers go through in the process.  I have gone through the joys and pains of remodeling, building homes, commercial renovations and subdivisions. When it comes to experience, I have done many different things and have personal first-hand knowledge to help you with your buying or selling experience.  I have served on the boards of many different community organizations in the past and currently serve as an Ambassador with the Chamber of Commerce, Junior Vice President of the VFW Post 1977 and as member of the city of Decorah's SSMID board.  In my free time, my wife and I enjoy supporting our children in their many sporting events and musical activities.  I also enjoy many outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, golfing and spending time at the river.  My wife, Natalie and I have three children; Kylie, Kelby & Heaton.  I look forward to helping you in your real estate journey.

Well, hello there!  I'm Natalie Kerndt, broker associate with Viking, Realtors.  I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2002 and received my real estate license in 2012.  I don’t know about you, but when I’m involved in a transaction that involves my family, money & big decisions, I need someone who I can trust, someone who will work for me & someone who I can genuinely enjoy being around.  If I require that in a transaction, you know that I require that of myself; to be that trustworthy, work-for-you, personable, caring person that you need.  My husband, Tade and I have built multiple homes, developed land, bought, sold & rented homes in the area, so I've been through the ups and downs of each.  With that experience, I can help you navigate any avenue of real estate.

My husband, Tade and I have three busy children:  Kylie, Kelby & Heaton.  I enjoy time at the river, playing piano at our local church, spending time with family and watching the kids at all their sporting and musical events.  If you are looking to do anything in real estate, I’d love to help you!  I look forward to meeting you soon!!

Since I was a kid, to now raising a family in beautiful Northeast Iowa, I have always felt a sense of home and belonging.  After buying my first home in my early 20's, I was hooked by the thrill of finding the perfect home and knew that someday I wanted to help others find theirs. While my children were growing, I waited until the time was right to dive into real estate.  I cannot say how thrilled I am that my time is finally here!

My husband Jeremy and I have 4 children: Trey, Madyson, Clare and Serenity. We enjoy boating, attending our children's events, our church, and spending time with our family and friends.   I look forward to helping you find your perfect home!

HI! My name is Carrie Leff & I've been involved in all sides of real estate - from the home building process to renting and buying, I've experienced everything that goes along with it. The buying process is truly what made me want to get into real estate and become a Realtor. I worked with a Realtor that I could trust and who made the process as smooth as possible.

My focus is to assist sellers in preparing their homes to sell and get them to & through closing and to also assist buyers in finding their perfect home. I aim to create a personalized strategy for each client - your home is your most important purchase and valuable asset and you should work with an agent that treats it that way.  I’ve spent years working in education which has helped me gain important skills to provide the best possible service in real estate.

Northeast Iowa has always been my home and I currently reside in Cresco. In my free time I enjoy reading, pretending I have a green thumb,  hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking and spending time with my three boys, Dillon, Aidan and Ethan.
